I. Course Fee Policies
Training Fees are non-refundable.
Course Payment Methods
When selecting to pay for your training course by credit card, the financial transaction against the credit card will be made when the training course has been completed. Accepted payments include: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. An invoice can be emailed to you upon request.
Corporate Purchase Order
When choosing to pay for your training course with a purchase order, we ask that you input the purchase order number at the time of your online registration and upload it if possible. If you do not have the PO number at that time, you will have the opportunity to return to your training registration record to update it when the purchase order number is available to you. Full payment is expected after your training course has been completed. An invoice can be emailed to you upon request. A check/money order should be made out to Thermo Fisher Scientific, drawn on US Funds, and mailed to the following address:

If you elected to pay with training credits, please fill out the comments box in the payment area of the online registration form, indicating as much information about the credit that you wish to apply to your current training course.
Course Cancellation by Customer
Customer may cancel participation by providing written notice to Thermo Fisher Scientific of cancellation no later than two (2) weeks prior to the start of the Training Course.
Equivalent credit of the Training Fees will be available which a Customer can apply to pay for other Thermo Fisher Scientific training classes, provided, another such training class is held within one (1) year from the date of the cancelled Training Course.
Customer who cancels less than two (2) weeks before the class will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the Training Fees.
The other 50% can be applied to another training class, provided another such training class is held within one (1) year from the date of the cancelled Training Course. Customer who fails to attend a Training Course without notifying Thermo Fisher Scientific as set forth above will forfeit all of their training fees.
Course Cancellation by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Thermo Fisher Scientific may cancel a Training Course at its sole discretion two (2) weeks prior to the start of the Training Course.
If Thermo Fisher Scientific cancels a Training Course, Thermo Fisher Scientific will refund in full the Training Fees paid by Customer.
Customer agrees that Thermo Fisher Scientific will not be liable for any expense or fees incurred by Customer due to such cancellation.
II. Course Inclusions
Inclusions and Documentation
Thermo Fisher Scientific shall provide each Participant training documentation and materials in different media (Course Materials). Customer and Participant(s) acknowledge that the Course Materials are proprietary and confidential to AB or its suppliers, and is protected by international laws of copyright and agree not to copy, modify, or merge the Course Materials, in whole or in part, or create derivatives thereof and agree not remove any proprietary, copyright, trade secret or warning legend from the Course Materials.
Customer shall pay for Participant(s)' travel, accommodation, meals, and other incidental expenses.
Participants who completed the Training Course will earn a Certificate of Completion for attending the Training Course.
Note: The certificate is not and shall not be deemed an endorsement by Thermo Fisher Scientific of the Participant(s)' skills.
III. Additional Documentation for Frederick Training Center and Carlsbad Training Center
Customers attending training at the Frederick Training Center and Carlsbad Training Center will be entering a BSL-2 Laboratory Environment.
