I. Course Fee Policies
Training Fees are non-refundable.
Course Payment Methods
Corporate Purchase Order
When choosing to pay for your training course with a purchase order, we ask that you input the purchase order number at the time of your online registration. If you do not have the PO number at that time, you will have the opportunity to return to your training registration record to update it when the purchase order number is available to you.
Full payment is expected after your training course has been completed. A bank transfer should be made out to Thermo Fisher Scientific and mailed to the address indicated on your invoice.
Course Cancellation by Customer
Customer may give written notice to Thermo Fisher Scientific up to 10 working days prior to the start of the Training Course.
Equivalent credit of the Training Fees will be available which Customer can apply to pay for a rescheduled course held within one (1) year from the date of the cancelled Training Course.
Course Cancellation by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Thermo Fisher Scientific may cancel or reschedule a Training Course at its sole discretion up to 10 working days prior to the start of the Training Course.
If Thermo Fisher Scientific cancels or reschedules a Training Course, Thermo Fisher Scientific will refund in full the Training Fees paid by Customer.
Customer agrees that Thermo Fisher Scientific will not be liable for any expense or fees incurred by Customer due to such cancellation.
II. Course Inclusions
Inclusions and Documentation
What is provided by Thermo Fisher Scientific with each course?
Thermo Fisher Scientific will provide each participant training documentation and materials in different media ("Course Materials"). Customer and Participant(s) acknowledge that the Course Materials are proprietary and confidential to AB or its suppliers, and is protected by international laws of copyright and agree not to copy, modify, or merge the Course Materials, in whole or in part, or create derivatives thereof and agree not remove any proprietary, copyright, trade secret or warning legend from the Course Materials.
Participants who completed the Training Course will earn a Certificate of Completion for attending the Training Course.
Note: The certificate is not and shall not be deemed an endorsement by Thermo Fisher Scientific of the Participant(s)' skills.
Is travel and accommodation covered by the course fee?
No. Customers and Participant(s) shall pay for travel, accommodation, meals, and other incidental expenses.
Lunch will be provided each day on the course and taxis will be arranged for transfer from the course to your hotel and back while the course is running.
III. Additional Questions
When is the last day to register for each of the training courses?
In the event that the training course does not reach capacity, registration will close three (3) business days before the first day of the class.
I can only attend one day, what is the registration fee?
Training course fees are based on the inclusive amount of days per course. Where a specific course is available in a 1, 2 or 3 day format, a single day rate would apply. This single day rate does not apply if you are not able to attend for the full course.
Will I receive a receipt for my registration fee?
Upon completion of the training course that you signed up for, full payment is expected. When choosing to pay for your training course with a purchase order, we ask that you input the purchase order number at the time of your online registration. If you do not have the PO number at that time, you will have the opportunity to return to your training registration record to update it when the purchase order number is available to you. At this time, an invoice will be emailed to you. A bank transfer should be made out to Thermo Fisher Scientific and mailed to the address indicated on your invoice.
May I bring a guest/colleague?
Training course participation is reserved for the paying attendee only.
Where and when can I pick up my course materials?
Training course materials will be distributed during the first day of the course.
How should I dress while attending the course?
Business casual dress is recommended attire.
Will speaker presentations be available after the training course on the web?
The training course instructors will distribute all course materials and presentations at the time of the class. There will not be any materials posted on the web.
May I audiotape any of the course presentations?
Any audio or videotape of the training course presentations is not permitted.
Will there be arrangements for special needs, such as wheelchair access?
During the registration process, you will be able to give us information on the online registration form that will help us to make you more comfortable.
Is internet access available?
Some of our training locations have guest WiFi available. Your trainer will be able to advise you if this is available when you join the course.
