Flow Cytometry Workshop (1 day)

P/N: Train-PCR1

Come and join our masterclass in flow cytometry. Whether you are doing cellular phenotype analysis or RNA interaction screening, flow cytometry applications are used widely within cell and molecular biology research.

Set-up the perfect Flow Cytometry experiment

This course will provide you with the flow cytometry basics and tools needed to design your research experiment. Participant will receive an introduction to flow cytometry, including the hardware and the sample preparation. The goal is to equip you with guidelines on how correct flow cytometry practice is conducted.

Learn from the experts about the best practices and experiment design in Flow Cytometry

Our qualified trainers, with extensive experience in flow cytometry will present and discuss the following topics:

  • Introduction to Flow Cytometry.
  • Sample preparation in Flow Cytometry.
  • Multicolour panel design including a 6 colour immunophenotyping theoretical exercise.
  • Overview of common flow cytometry applications: Immunophenotyping, Cell cycle, PrimeFlow RNA, and more…
  • Troubleshooting examples.

Who should attend?

This interactive workshop is intended for all scientists, biological technicians using or planning to use flow cytometry and who want to obtain more in depth understanding of experimental setup and multicolour panel design. Participants will receive an insight into the appropriate sample preparation, examples of applications and flow cytometry troubleshooting.

Tuition includes training materials, certificates, lunch and refreshments*.
