display. Bioconductor is a collection of R packages for the analysis of high-throughput genomic

In this course you will learn the basic commands in R to enable you to manipulate files and write
scripts, allowing you to explore the open source world with our experts.

We believe small groups enhance the learning experience and we use examples from real-life datasets. Participants will be provided with a virtual environment in a USB data stick, containing the pipelines created throughout the course, so that you can take them and use them in your lab.

Learning objectives
This interactive and hands-on course covers the fundamentals of R/Bioconductor from the beginning
to give participants sufficient knowledge to take their first steps in bioinformatics, writing simple
scripts to manage data.

Who should attend – This course is aimed at researchers who want to manipulate data with a widely
used language as R/Bioconductor. Participants should be comfortable working on the command line
(e.g. after attending our Linux® I course).
